My Hedge-Bot is a wooden (foam) model who's mouth can open (and close) at the pull of an handle. the Hedge-Bot's tail can wag by the same motion. my Hedge-Bot is designed to entertain kids. this model is made of mostly wood (foam) and a bit of wire (wire) and string (rubber bands). The wooden (foam) frame has these measurements:
8.5 cm hight 13 cm length 8 cm width
I will: I will first make the mouth cavity. then the mainframe without the front and back inserted. then I will insert the mouth into the model. then I will assemble the tail. and add the tail to the main frame. the parts of this automaton had to be modified due to lack of needed items (in brackets). but the foam and belts serve useful as a new design emerges the hedge-bot shall continue to become a real thing. Hedge-Bot!!!!!!! this is what the hedge-bot will look like (on google sketchup) in the future...
